Fiberglass mesh is the most common material for screen
construction. Fiberglass is very durable and lasts 10 -15
years.

Aluminum mesh has a shiny metallic finish.
It is stronger and more durable than fiberglass but less
forgiving should it be dented or pinched. Aluminum mesh is
also more expensive.
